The Bermuda Triangle, also known as “The Devil’s Triangle”, is a great mystery to the world. Many people have multiple theories as to what the Bermuda Triangle is, but there is no definite answer. After the unusual disappearance of Flight 19, people began to wonder as to what the Bermuda Triangle really was. History The Bermuda Triangle is off the southeastern coast of Florida. It covers 440,000 square miles and is believed by scientists to have violent unexpected storms or downward air currents that destroy planes and ships. When going over the Bermuda, most ships or planes have equipment malfunctions and the compasses stop working all of the sudden. Flight 19 After Flight 19 suddenly disappeared, people started to acknowledge the Bermuda Triangle. Flight 19 was a plane full of U.S. Navy Bombers with a crew of 13 men. The pilot’s name was Charles Taylor, and while he was having trouble while flying over the Bermuda, he was talking to an air force about his difficulties. This is what makes Flight 19 so famous, because the plane disappeared while in the midst of talking to someone. Theories There are many theories scientists and people beleive that causes the Bermuda Triangle disapperances. A few of the theories include:
