Sub:- General Elections to the Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly -
Disbursement of Social Security Pensions for the month of May, payable in June,
2024 - certain instructions issued - Reg.
2. The Government have issued revised instructions on disbursement of pensions for the
months of May and June, 2024 i.e. through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode and Door-to-
door disbursement mode vide Ref. 8th cited.
3. Accordingly, the pensions in the month of May, 2024 have been disbursed through
DBT and Door to Door modes. The DBT failed cases (74399) due to inactive bank accounts
during the month of May, have been converted to Door-to-Door disbursement mode and
disbursed accordingly.
4. Last month's (May, 2024) failed DBT cases (74399), other state coop banks accounts,
and pensioners who have attained 80 years of age on 01.06.2024, other special cases etc
(35576) pensions (total - I,09,975) are converted from DBT to Door-to-Door disbursement
mode for the month of May, payable in June, 2024 to facilitate the pensioners to receive
pensions at their doorsteps.

6. It is re-iterated that the pension disbursement for the month of May, payable in June,
2024 will be taten up in two modes vizDtect Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Door to Door
disbursement as per the instructions issued in the ref. Stl'cited as per following timelines:
(i) DBT Mode : Pension disbursement will be done directl y into the bank
accounts of the pensioners on 1't Jwe,2024.
(ii) Door to Door disbursement All the Panchayat Secretaries I Ward
Administrative Secretaries are directed to withdraw the pension cash on
31.05.2024 in respect of Door to Door disbursernent from their respective
Bank Branches and handover the same to other village/ward secretariat
functionaries for disbursement of pensions in Door-to-Door mode from
01.06.2024 to 05.06.2024.
7. The CEO, SERP, MDs of welfare corporations, Commissioner, APCRDA, and all
District Collectors are requested to take necessary action accordingly and follow the
instructions of the Government issued in the ref 8ft cited.
8. The Project Director, DRDAs shall communicate these instructions to all the
MPDOs/ Municipal Commissioners and disburse the pensions duly following the Model
Code of Conduct.
