1.One object

Active: subject-verb-object

Passive: subject- to be+ past participle- by (if it is

necessary)

Example:
Waiters ask customers to stop phoning while they are ordering
Customers are asked to stop phoning while they are ordering (by
waiters)

2. Two objects
Active: Subject- verb- object (indirect)- object (direct)

Passive: Subject-to be+past participle- object (direct)- (by (agent))

Passive: Subject- to be+past participle- to +object (indirect)- by (agent)

Example: Muriel has shown them (o. indirect) the new offices (o.direct)

The new offices have been shown to them by Muriel

They have been shown the new offices to Muriel
3)PASSIVE WITH REPORTING VERBS
i.e. say, think, consider, know, supose......

EXAMPLE:
