1.One object
Active: subject-verb-object
Example:
Waiters ask customers to stop phoning while they are ordering
Customers are asked to stop phoning while they are ordering (by
waiters)
2. Two objects
Active: Subject- verb- object (indirect)- object (direct)
Example: Muriel has shown them (o. indirect) the new offices (o.direct)
EXAMPLE:
People think that they were studying English all afternoon
1. It is thought thay they were studying English all the afternoon
2. They are thought to have been studying all the afternoon
ADVICE
Sujeto ( de quien piensan, consideran,
suponen.....)+ verbo to be en el tiempo
verbal del reporting verb+ reporting verb
en pasiva+ infinitivo en pasiva
ACTIVE PASSIVE

126. The car was stolen in the car park last night.
