Wrote for a Lockerbie, Scotland-based newspaper as a London-based reporter during my semester abroad. Covered press conferences

Head production for two of nine news shows: Talking Points (politics) and News Live at 6 (local news), plus annual live election night
show. Lead editorial content of programs: writing scripts, copy-editing, and stacking 30-minute rundowns (deciding stories, segments,
elements, and time) while managing a staff of 15-20 members (producers, talent, operations).

NCC News, Syracuse, NY — Newscast Production Course (1/24-4/24)


Undergraduate capstone course with a rotational schedule of newsroom responsibilities. Weekly roles include executive producing,
associate producing, multimedia reporting, anchoring, social media, digital/web producing, and shooting and editing VO, SOTs, etc.

NCC News, Syracuse, NY — Television Reporting Course (8/22-12/22)


Shoot, edit, and film packages and live shots by deadline for the MMJ training course. “Package days” required pitching stories with the
expectation of a day-turn package during a “9 to 5” timeframe. “Lab days” required editing “ghost packages” within 90 minutes, with
pretaped interviews and b-roll, and a live “donut” stand-up “on the scene.” Earned an "A."
