= RS232
SYSTEM\COMMUNICATION\ CONF PORT
= RAS
 Let’s open directly the paramstore savefile
corresponding

 The software start automaticly, and a list of
parameters appears
 Setting communication port as following:

 Menu “Parameter” than “Retrieve


parameter”
 Or use the icon

 A window allowing to select the address


number of the SCM appears
 For example select 1 for D1 and press OK

 NB:During the downloading, your computer will


be automaticly connected to the SCM.
 At the end, parameters list appears, save
the file, close all and disconnect your PC

 Open backup file.


 Menu “Parameter” then “Send parameters”

 Or use the icon


 A window allowing to select the address

 Start the LON I/O Setup program
 NB: During the downloading, your
computer will be automatically connected
to the SCM
 Menu “System” then “Upload all”

 A window asking you the IP SCM address


appears, answer always OK
 At the end, the message
“transfer completed” appears:
press OK, save the file, close all & disconnect
your PC

 Connect your PC to the diagnostic port of


the SCM
 Let’s open directly the Lon Network savefile
corresponding
 The software start automaticly, like usually
your PC will be connected automaticly
during the downloading

 A message appears directly asking you if
you want to send your savefile to the
system answer Yes
 A window asking you
the IP SCM address appears,
answer always OK
 An other window asking
you if you want to continue,
answer OK

 Then the LONSetup


Asking you if you want
To erase the old network,
Answer Yes
 At the end,a message
“transfer completed” appears:
Press OK, close all & disconnect your PC

About the LON Network file…
SCM Lon address of
each connected
If you develop a folder,
for example Wago DI, you
could see easily the Lon
connection between Wago
moduls and the controllers
A red straight on a folder
means that a connection exist
I know where is connected
wago DI n°0 for example by
clicking on it, the connection
is defined just beside
LON I/O SETUP
How to change a LON address…

 You only need to change a SCM LON address


in the case of a CPU board replacment!!!
 Warning: if you change the LON address of
one SCM you’re going to loose all LON
connection concerning this one!!!
 Connect your PC to the diagnostic port of the
SCM
 A new CPU board has by default the
following communication configuration:
RS232 / RAS

How to change a LON address…
 Start the LON I/O Setup program
 Upload all the LON network using the
shortcut icon

 NB: During the downloading, your


computer will be connected automaticly to
the SCM
 Wait until the box “transfer completed”
appears, then press OK

How to change a LON address…
At first select the controller you
need to re-address, then click
on the right button and go to
properties menu

Write in the case Node Number


the new address of the SCM
then press OK

Wait until the controller will get the new LON address, when it’s OK
close all and don’t forget to disconnect your computer
