Copy and paste the following letter in the answer section and add the necessary punctuation.

A year ago, you lent your favorite book to a friend who you thought would enjoy it. Unfortunately, your
friend has forgotten to return it. The book has sentimental value to you as it had been presented by your
grandmother.
Write a letter to your friend. In the letter:
• ask about his studies
• remind him/her about the book
• suggest how you would like to book to be returned

Hey Youna,

I haven’t heard from you for ages! How have you been doing? Don’t ask about me because I’ve been knee deep in
paperwork recently. I have to start looking for a new job.

How are your studies going on? How far along are you now in your studies? Please do remember to invite me to
your convocation. If I’m not wrong, you should graduate in six months’ time.

By the way, you have something of mine, and I think it has skipped your mind. It’s nothing really valuable but it has
immense sentimental value for me. Do you remember the novel Rebecca that you borrowed from me? I cherish that
book because my late grandmother gave it to me. That book is a reminder of all the good times I had when I visited
her every summer. Good old days!

If you’re done with the book, please send it to me by registered mail. Please don’t use regular mail service because I
can’t track the shipment and it might get lost in the mail. I know registered mail is more expensive but don’t worry,
as I will pay you back. Alternatively, you can visit me one weekend and bring the book along. I’m sure we will have
a good time.

Let me know which way you prefer.

Best,

Jay
