1. Academic writing is a formal writing style used in colleges and universities. It requires
to be concise, precise, focused and backed by evidence. Explain the importance of
academic writing. What are the main differences between the academic writing style and
normal writing styles?

2. University of Oxford defines Plagiarism as “presenting someone else’s work or ideas as

your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full
acknowledgement”. Explain how you can prevent plagiarism. Why we should avoid
plagiarism and what are the consequences you may have to face as a student if you
plagiarize?

3. Briefly explain what a presentation is and what are presentation skills & techniques.
Describe what you should do and should not do when doing a presentation.
