It is not surprising that the vegan diet and non-vegan diet have attracted many

heated debates because of their effects on people's health. This essay will
elaborate on the differences between a vegan diet and non- vegan diet

Firstly, regarding ingredients, a vegan diet excludes meat, eggs, dairy products,
and all other animal-derived ingredients. They consume primarily leafy
vegetables and grains, while a non-vegan diet includes chicken, meat, eggs, fish,
and other ingredients.

In terms of health benefits, the vegan diet could reduce the risk of contracting
some degenerative diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and
cancer. Non-vegan diet, in contrast, runs the risk of cancer and heart disease.
Moreover, people who follow the vegan diet may encounter the risk of food
poisoning, while non-vegetarians will suffer from having higher risk of
salmonella

Another noticeable dietary difference between the two types of diets is marked
in environmental impact. Vegan- diets are more environmentally- friendly than
vegan diet based on many aspects such as avoiding animals, killing acts,
conserving water, and reduce energy consumption, while the reverse can be
observed in vegan diet

In conclusion, the vegan diet and non-vegan diet distinctions regarding


ingredients, health benefits, and environmental impacts could be taken into
consideration for people's choices. Although there are many different debates on
this issue, there are still significant disparities between the two types of diets
that people should consider when choosing a healthy diet to follow.
