Facts about Sea Turtles

There are 6 species of sea turtle. 5 species live in the waters of
North Queensland—from Cape York to Mackay.
A turtle’s life is NOT easy. Many sea turtles die from plastic each
year.
The starts normally guide baby sea turtles to the ocean after
hatching. But with more light in the sky from towns and cities, they
get totally confused and sometimes go the wrong way.
