To whom it may concern

Regarding the epoxy grout CHOCKFAST RED®, which has been supplied to the Project ECA Phase I
LNG, we submit the following recommendations about the installation of expansion joints.

Analyzing the Information we received about the Acid Tank T-8778, we suggest installing expansion joints at least
every 1.5 – 1.8 meters, because the thickness of the grout is only 35 mm for a large equipment, and also, because of the
local weather of the site. These two conditions are a higher risk to get some cracks during the curing of the product, or
when equipment starts working. These joints also help to do faster and easier pourings,

In case the installation of joints is not possible, there will be a possibility of cracks to appear since material
will create its own natural expansion joints, and they will be treated and corrected as an aesthetic matter.
