1. Imagine yourself having had graduated from college and up for an important
job interview. As in the way interviews usually go, the interviewer asks you,
"So. Tell me about yourself." What will you say?
Good day mama/sir
I graduated with my degree in Industrial technology major in
automotive two months ago. I chose that field of study because I’ve
always been interested in fixing car and a couple of family members
told me it leads to great career options, too. I like playing basketball
and detailing cars and motorcycle I’m a solo son my personality is a
competitive person in my job that’s all thank you.

2. Think of a social problem apart from poverty. Try to articulate the various
reasons or causes why this social problem exists. And try to explain, or
describe, the relationships of these various causes.

Points for Reflection

3. For Marx, a primitive communal society is characterized by hunting and

gathering materials which are shared among its members. With this comes
development of agricultural processes, leading to the slave society, where
classes of people (slave-owners and slaves) form the backbone of the means
of production. After the slave society comes the feudal society, characterized
by other classes (rulers - kings, lords, etc. and subjects) including the
merchants, who generate profit. The fourth stage of historical material
development is the rise of the capitalist society, which is characterized by a
profit-driven market economy involving private property obtained through
labor. According to Marx, this labor involves the alienation of the worker
due to wages given in exchange for sustenance, showing how capitalism
