You should say:

Where it is located
What it is known for
What the main industries in your hometown are
What the advantages and disadvantages of living there
Explain if you like living in your home town or somewhere else

Describe a city you know.

You should say:

Where the city is located

What part of the city you are most familiar with
What the important landmarks and places there
What the advantages and disadvantages of living there
Explain what makes that city special to you

Describe something you own which is very important to you.

You should say:

What it is/its brand
What it looks like
Where you got it from
How long you have had it
What you use it for; and

Explain why it is important to you
