To craft the Portfolio of Initiatives, the first step is for the initiative owner to identify or
create major action plans to accomplish the strategic initiative. For every major action
plan, formulate corresponding sub-action plans that will accomplish the major action
plans. Fill-up the details of the other components of the portfolio. Finally, identify the
status of completion of the activities through the traffic light color coding scheme.
