CHECKLIST FOR FALSE CEILING WORK.

1 Check the frame is fixed over plastered

surface.
2 Check the area when false ceiling to be
fixed is clean.
3 Check the clearance from electrical team.
4 Check the clearance from fire team in case
false ceiling is to cover fire pipes.
5 Check that the hangers and horizontal
members (G.I) are placed equally and are
in sufficient members.
6 Check that the gypsum boards used are of
approved brands and as per specification.
7 Check the position of trap door.
8 Check the screws to be embedded inside
the board thickness.
9 Check the line, level and right angle of the
gypsum board fixed.
10 Check for no sagging & hogging state at
the bottom of false ceiling after final finish
with jointing compound.
