CHECKLIST FOR FIRE FIGHTING WORK.

DEVIATION
1 Approved MEP drawing present on site.
2 Specifications for pipes and fittings are approved.

3 Before casting the slab, sleeves are located as per the

drawing.
4 Open those sleeves while block work.

5 Piping layout is done as per the approved drawing.

6 Pressure needs to be checked for horizontal pipes up to

10kg and vertical pipes up to 15kg for welding check.
7 After pipe installation, red oxide paint should be applied
and after that final paint.
8 Sprinkler branch piping is done as per the approved
drawing.
9 Check the sprinkler location as per the drawing and type
sidewall or pendent sprinkler.
10 Check the pump for approved make, model no, flow, and
head as per technical submittal.
11 Check pump installed as per approved drawing.
12 Check pumps are installed on foundations with pads or on
inertia base frames with vibration springs or mountings as
applicable.
13 Check adequate space available for installation of valves,
flexible connections/strainer, meter gauges, etc.
14 Verify that pressure gauges, test points, and drain points
are provided as per the drawing.
15 Check adequate access for maintenance work of pumps.

16 Check all nuts, bolts, etc. are tightened as required.

17 Check all the fire pumps, sprinkler pumps, and booster
pumps as per the drawing.
