SEARCH - EVERNOTE FOR ANDROID

Responsible for the overhaul of the Search feature on the Evernote for Android (v6.0)
app. Changes included a complete re-theming of the existing interface and adding
features like search grammar parsing and extending the offline search capabilities.

VISUAL ANALYTICS FOR TEXT AND DOCUMENTS

The objective is to help develop visual representations of the information within
textual documents and report collections in-order to help investigative analysts
search, review and understand documents better. It has been inspired from Jigsaw
and will allow for online sharing and collaboration and is currently in the design phase.
CRIME IN ATLANTA AND ROUTES OF “SAFE PASSAGE”

The project helps to visualize crime information along a route along with contextual
information about the types of crimes. Responsible for implementing the front-end
visualizations using d3.js and worked as an equal member of a five person team to
help design the various aspects of the project.
SPORTS VISUALIZATION IN GOLF

Directed study done under Dr. John Stasko that researches the various ways in
which golf data can be visualized. Single-handedly responsible for implementing the
backend framework and developing the interactive visualizations using d3.js.

It is a comprehensive used car evaluation portal and provides complete information
about the car industry in India. Being a founding engineer, I was responsible in
implementing some of the core functionalities of the product. I was also actively
involved in the recruiting and mentored a junior in mobile app development.

An app for Google Glass with a companion Android app to assist the deaf and
hearing-impaired in everyday conversations. Responsible for a major portion of the
Glass and app development and worked as an equal member of a five person team
during the design phase of the project. Winners of Connected Home category and
People’s Choice Award in the Spring '14 edition of CIC at Tech.
