The Race Awakening (also known as Race V4) was added on January 6, 2023, as a way
to level up players' race even further. It is obtainable in the Third Sea.

The Race Awakening grants the player access to new skills/abilities, and requires
the completion of specific quests, puzzles, and trials depending on the race.

Each race awakening provides the user with abilities that enhance their mobility,
reduce their cooldown, fortify their defense, aid in PvP and PvE combat, among
other perks.

Requirements
Be in Third Sea
Any Race V3.
Defeated rip_indra once.
Mirror Fractal (obtained after defeating Dough King).
Find the Blue Gear on Mirage Island.
2 other players or more with different races, at least V3, and have met the
requirements above. They must complete the training task from Ancient One.

NOTES (important)
Mirage Island no longer requires a full moon, only night time.
You can still trial even though it is Blue Moon.
Only one player can awaken or upgrade their race/gear per trial. Players can take
the trials multiple times if they are not disturbed during training.
You can activate your Awakening skill by pressing Y on your keyboard, but you need
to be in combat with a player/npc to activate it.
To fully awaken your race, you need to pay FragmentIcon 26,750 for 1 race, and
FragmentIcon 160,500 for all 6 races.
To get all upgrades, you need to use awakening for about 90 minutes or 1.5 hours.
After the last trial, you will place the last gear on the Ancient Clock, the third
gear out of 4. That is the maximum amount of gear you can get per race.
Race Awakening cannot be activated while being transformed (e.g. Transformed
Buddha).

Race V4 Passive/Abilities
Whenever you get race v4 for the first time on any race you don't get to choose
which gear you get (That is if you do the trials again), Once you place your first
gear you will be given Ancient Powers. You will have to do the trials again in
order to add the other gears. There are five gears you have to put in order to
fully awaken your race but you only need to do 4 trials.

Ancient Powers:
Upon transforming, receive max stats as well as increased damage, speed, and heal
by 10%.

Getting Race Awakening in the Valentine's Event Update

On December 31st, 2022, at 8:30 PM (PST), the race awakening "reveal" premiered.
However, this has sparked widespread outrage in the community. Everything they did
suggested that it wouldn't just be a showcase but would also reveal how to obtain
V4. The community was, however, mistaken. Despite the fact that they called it a
"release" and even included an in-game timer, leading people to believe there would
be an in-game event, it was only a showcase. They went on to say in the
description, "Race Awakenings will be released on January 6th in the evening (US
time). Stay tuned for more information." This implies that Race Awakenings was
never obtainable and that many players squandered their time attempting to obtain
it. The day that it released, January 6th, 2023, is a real-life full moon.

If you see at the update 17.3 trailer, we can see that some of the devs and the
admins after transforming, there’s no idle animation for each race. This is the
reason why in update 17.3, there’s no race awakening because it’s still unfinished
