Project Overview: The scope of this project is to conduct a thorough

survey and produce accurate as-built drawings for a constructed

building located in Wayanad, Kalpetta, Kerala.

The building comprises a Basement, Ground Floor, Mezzanine, First

Floor, Second Floor, and Terrace, with each floor having an
approximate area of 7000 square feet, totaling approximately 10,000
square feet of land area.
Survey and Measurement: a. Conduct a detailed survey of the entire
property, including the land area and the existing building structure. b.
Utilize total station equipment to accurately measure the dimensions,
levels, and alignments of the building and its surroundings. c. Ensure
precise measurements of each floor, including rooms, corridors,
staircases, and any other architectural features.
As-Built Drawing Preparation: a. Produce as-built drawings reflecting
the current state of the building, capturing any modifications or
deviations from the original plans. b. Create detailed floor plans for
each level, showing the layout of rooms, walls, doors, windows, and
other relevant elements. c. Include elevations and cross-sections to
illustrate the vertical dimensions and structural characteristics of the
building. d. Provide accurate annotations, labels, and dimensions to
facilitate understanding and future reference.
Quality Assurance: a. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the survey
data and drawings through rigorous quality control measures. b. Verify
all measurements and calculations to minimize errors and
discrepancies. c. Review the final drawings for completeness, clarity,
and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Deliverables: a. Submit digital copies of the finalized as-built drawings
in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) format. b. Provide printed copies of
the drawings as per client specifications, if required. c. Include a
comprehensive report documenting the survey methodology, findings,
and any recommendations or observations.
Project Timeline: The project timeline shall be determined based on the
complexity of the building and the availability of resources. A detailed
schedule will be provided upon project initiation, outlining key
milestones and deliverable dates.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain regular communication
with the client to address any queries, provide progress updates, and
ensure alignment with their expectations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local regulations, codes, and
standards governing surveying and building documentation in Kerala.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and practices during the surveying
activities to minimize risks to personnel and property.
This scope of work outlines the necessary steps and responsibilities for
conducting a comprehensive survey and producing accurate as-built
drawings for the client's building in Wayanad, Kerala.

1. Project Overview: The objective of this project is to conduct a comprehensive survey and
produce precise as-built drawings for an existing client building situated in Wayanad,
Kalpetta, Kerala. The building encompasses a Basement, Ground Floor, Mezzanine, First
Floor, Second Floor, and Terrace, with each floor covering an approximate area of 7000
square feet. Additionally, the scope includes contour mapping of the 10,000 square feet
land surrounding the building.
2. Survey and Measurement: a. Perform a detailed land survey to accurately map the
contours and topography of the 10,000 square feet land. b. Utilize total station
equipment to measure and record the dimensions, elevations, and alignments of the
building and its surroundings. c. Ensure precise measurements of each floor, including
rooms, corridors, staircases, and other architectural elements.
3. As-Built Drawing Preparation: a. Develop comprehensive as-built drawings incorporating
Plan, Section, and Elevation views of the building. b. Include detailed floor plans for each
level, illustrating the layout of rooms, walls, doors, windows, and other relevant features.
