Vectors

If A = (2, 6, 8), B = (5, −1, 12) and C = (80, 0, −5), find

(a) B+C
(b) A+B-C
(c) 3A+2B-C
Is this vector a unit vector?

(a) (0 , 0 , 1)
(b) (1/2 , 1/2 , √2/2)
(c) (1/√2 , 0 , −1/√2)
Matrices

Every element is [𝑎𝑖𝑗 ]

▪ Find a, b, c if:
3𝑎 6 9 2𝑏
−4 −𝑑
= 𝐶 1

a = 3, b = 3, c = -4 , d = -1
Special Matrices
