STUDENT COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH COMMITMENT AGREEMENT FOR PRH COURSES

The Practical Research (PRH) Courses offered by the Special Health Sciences Senior High School (SHSSHS)
Department for this SY 2023-2024 are the following: PRH101 – Practical Research I, PRH102 – Practical
Research II and PRH103 – Inquiries, Investigations and Immersion. These courses aim to develop critical
thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills through qualitative or quantitative research.

interpretation skills throughout my participation in collaborative research and group oral presentation.

As a student researcher, I understand that collaborative research entails rigorous tasks. For the
accomplishment of the group research output, I will commit and abide by the following:

1. uphold camaraderie and establish solidarity with my research group until the research
productivity;
2. comply with individual and group learning tasks and assessments;
3. communicate objectively and honestly with my co-researchers, my research teacher, my research
adviser and study participants or respondents;
4. attend scheduled webinar series and group meetings with my research team, my research teacher
and my research adviser;
5. listen respectfully to each other during meetings;
6. honor each researcher’s contribution and suggestions;
7. if a problem arises, I will honor the consensus decisions developed;
8. contribute to the group assignment with quality and significantly relevant to the research
(e.g., content-write-up, PPT presentation, reporting, brainstorming, etc.);
9. contribute to the research fees (i.e., research adviser, technical panel, ethics reviewer, instrument
validator, statistical fee, proofreading, instrument translation);
10. accomplish self and peer evaluation, necessary research forms, webinar-series evaluation and exit
interview survey for PRH; and
11. if there is an opportunity for institutional, national, or international presentations and
publications with co-authorship of the research adviser, I will adhere to the policies and
guidelines.
