The Statutes of Civil Defence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, promulgated in

Royal Decree M/10 of 10/5/1406 A.H. corresponding to A.D. 1986, which
constitutes the basis for the implementation of all Civil Defence tasks;

According to Saudi Civil Defence Statutes, Civil Defence is “the set of procedures
and actions necessary to protect the population as well as public and private property
against the risks of fires, disasters, wars and of other accidents, as well as those
and
telecommunications safety, the smooth functioning of public services and the
protection of national resources in war or peace times or during emergency
situations”.
