Brazil

officially known as the federative republic of Brazil.

It is a country that belongs to South America. Its capital is Brasilia.

It is considered the third largest country in America, and is also considered the 5th largest in the world.

Its official language is Portuguese. Its climate is characterized by being mostly warm, since it is located in
a tropical area.

The current population of Brazil is 217 million inhabitants. It is the seventh most populated country in
the world.

Brazil's gastronomy has indigenous, European and African influence. Among its most important typical
dishes are:

feijoada: It is a black bean stew, accompanied by pork, sausages, vegetables and rice.

picanha: It is a grilled cut of meat, from a beef.

acaraje: It is a type of roll made with bean dough and filled with shrimp.

churrasco: It is a thin cut of grilled meat that comes from the flank of the beef.

This country is one of the main tourist destinations in the world due to its great celebrations and tourist
places, such as:

Christ the Redeemer: it is a 38-meter-high monument and is part of the 7 wonders of the world.

The Rio de Janeiro Carnival is the most famous event in Brazil, it has music, dancers, impressive
costumes, parties and what stands out the most is the samba parade.

One of the most popular sports in Brazil is soccer. The Brazilian soccer team is the most successful team
in World Cup history, winning the title 5 times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002).

Being a country with a high level of tourism, it has several airports that are very popular, among the
most important are:

Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport: located in the municipality of Guarulhos, it is one of the most
important in Latin America in terms of number of passengers and cargo movement.

Rio de Janeiro International Airport: it is the second most important in Brazil, it is located on Governor's
Island, and is heavily traveled by travelers and tourists from all over the world.

Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport: located in Brasilia, it is one of the most modern in
Brazil, it is capable of serving more than 9 million passengers a year. It has a shopping center with more
than 130 stores.
Pinto Martins International Airport: Located in the state of Caerá, Brazil. offers national and
international air connections to the city. It receives around 7 million passengers a year.
