Governor Hope Jokowi Inaugurates the Rising Papua

Jayapura - Papua Governor Lukas Enembe said he was ready to host the 2020 National
Sports Week (PON). Lukas hopes that the inauguration of the Rising Papua Stadium that will
be used for later PONs will be officially opened by Jokowi.

According to Lukas, on the planned visit of President Joko Widodo in Papua there were two
agendas, namely the inauguration of the project whose construction was funded by the
state budget and the presidential election campaign activities. Lukas hopes that Jokowi will
attend the inauguration of the stadium which will be completed in March 2019.

Regarding the construction of other venues, Lukas stated that he was currently waiting for
his Instruction.

Lukas also said that during the reign of Joko Widodo, development in Papua received
enormous attention. For this reason, he hopes that Joko Widodo's leadership can continue
for two periods so that the development program being implemented in Papua can be
resolved.
