I wanted to do something I was well versed in for my creative connections and what I would

know better than music. I created 4 small playlists of songs i think the Great Gatsby Characters
would listen to in 2024. I tried my best to pick songs that captured moments or feelings of the
characters in the book.

Gatsby would listen to this song in his study after daisy didn’t say she loved him back

This song talks about always holding out hope that the one you love will reach out and
say the same. It talks about keeping a number saved just in case she gets the guts to
call.

I think that Gatsby would play this song when they were dancing in the ballroom. It talks
about two lovers reconnecting and dancing without expectation.

This is a sadder song and i think the opening line really encapsulates Gatsby feelings in
the beginning when he reconnected with daisy.

This song talks about wanting someone you know you can’t have, i think Gatsby would
listen to this while looking at the green light waiting a wondering

This song talks about doing everything you can to please people and not being enough
for the one thing you want i think these lyrics would resonate with gatsby

This song talks about lying to someone telling them you love them but lying i think daisy
would listen to this after she’s decides to take Tom back and ditch Gatsby

This song is about losing self control and wanted to call someone you know you
shouldn’t i this daisy would listen to this song when she was just starting up again with
Gatsby

i think these lyrics would speak to daisy after she chooses Tom over gatsby
