I was the first one to give interview in my batch. Capt. Philip Mathews took my interview.There
was just one technical question for me(Archimedes principle) and all the rest was personal
questions. And he asked them rapidly that I couldn't even finish my answers .

So when I entered the room he was working on some document he didn't even take a look at
me and told me to take a seat.After asking my name he asked:

1) Tell me abt your family

2) When I told him my brother is in Anglo he asked me why sisl, why not Anglo they have so
many ships.

I answered all confidently. These were the only questions asked to me.

My tip is that don't be nervous try to be confident and maintain proper eye contact always with

1. THEY ASKED ME FOUR QUESTIONS IN ONE FLOW. THE FIRST ONE WAS TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF,
YOUR FAMILY BACKGROUND, WHY MERCHANT NAVY, WHY THERE IS A YEAR GAP, AND WHAT ARE U
DOING IN THIS GAP YEAR?

2. WHAT IS YOUR FATHER'S AND MOTHER'S PROFESSION?

3. I WROTE MY HOBBY IS PLAYING FOOTBALL SO HE ASKED ME ABOUT THREE FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF

CONFIDENT, I WAS MAKING CONTINUOUS EYE CONTACT, AND YET THE QUESTIONS WERE BASIC AND
