Get started with Tab organizer in Chrome


To help you stay organized, Chrome can suggest and automatically create tab groups.

Requirements
To use this feature, make sure that you:

• Are located in the US and at least 18 years old.


• Are signed in to your Google Account.
• Turn on Sync and make sure you sync your History. Learn more about sync in Chrome.
• Turn on Experimental AI.

Turn on Experimental AI
1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Select More Settings Experimental AI.
3. Turn on Try out experimental AI features Tab Organizer.

Group your open tabs with Tab organizer


1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Open the sites you want to group together.
3. At the top left, select Tab search .
• If you have Chrome open on a Mac, at the top right, select Tab search .
• You can also open Tab search via:
• An open tab: Right-click on an open tab. Then, select Organize similar tabs.
• Chrome menu: Select More Organize tabs.

4. Under “Organize tabs,” select Check now.


• Only one suggested group will display at a time.
• When you find a list of tabs for a suggested group, you can:
• Edit the suggested tab group name.
• Remove a tab that you don’t want to include. To remove a tab:
• Hover your mouse over the tab you want to remove and then select Remove .

5. Select Create group.


• At the top left, you’ll find the added group.

Tips:

• To edit a tab group, right-click on the tab group name. Help guide
• To add a new tab group for other tabs, repeat the steps above.
