CHAPTER 4: LINEAR INEQUATIONS

Objectives: The students will be able
• to solve linear inequation algebraically
• to understand the concept of replacement set and solution set

CHAPTER 6: SOLVING PROBLEMS ( BASED ON QUADRATIC EQUATIONS)

Objectives: The students will be able
• to understand the method of solving problems on quadratic equations
• to understand the methodology of solving problems based on numbers, ages, time
and work, time and distance, mensuration etc

CHAPTER 15: SIMILARITY OF TRIANGLES [ EXERCISE 15 A, 15 B ]

Objectives: The students will be able
• to understand comparison with congruency, and proportionality concepts
• to learn simple applications of SSS, SAS, AAA theorem ( proof not included)

Class tests: After completion of each chapter.

Assessment: All assessments will be done as per ICSE pattern from “Concise Mathematics”
