1.0 INTRODUCTION
The course assessed at the center was Masonry level 4 and the practical assessment done was Construct
building superstructures. Below is the data of distribution of candidates who were present during the
practical assessment;

The internal assessor who participated in the assessment was Ms. LEONIDA ATIENO of ID NO:
34933689 and was assisted by Mr. PETER STEPHEN OCHIENG of ID NO: 34730450 as the internal
verifier.
3.0 OBSERVATIONS MADE DURING PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
Observations made during practical assessment were as follows;
i. The tools, equipment, materials and supplies given to trainees during assessment were adequate
and in good condition.
ii. The workshop was not that accommodative due to the large number of trainees.
iii. Time allocated to students was enough as they were able to complete assessment within the time
frame.

There were no exams irregularities or any cheating incidence observed throughout the assessment
exercise.
6.0 CONCLUSION
The practical assessment was successfully carried out at MAWEGO TECHNICAL TRAINING
INSTITUTE.
7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
I recommend that both the internal assessors and examination officers should guide trainees on which
units to register before sitting for examination. This will ensure that trainees don’t do assessments on
units which they have not been trained/taught.
