To whom it may concern

I have known Robert Peters since 2018, when he came to Querétaro, Mexico, to take an advaced
Spanish class in OLE, the Language School where I used to work. I was told by my superiors and by
other fellow teachers that this student was very advanced and challenging, asking questions about parts
of ships and boats that nobody really knew, and that’s why he asked for a different teacher every two
days. Luckily, when I met him, I found out he was not that challenging for me, but he and I are very
similar: passionate, curious, and observant. Our classes went on for a month, but the friendship
prevailed. We started to take classes every week since January 2022 until now.

About Robert’s personality, I must say he’s not only deeply passionate about the Spanish language, the
cultures that sorround it, and its history. He’s also well informed about regional slangs from different
dialects, the ethimological evolution of a myriad of words, and about the authors of different times
around Latin America and Spain. The Spanish language is not just a hobby for him. Nontheless, it’s not
his only one.

Nature, wildlife, and the ecosystems of his country, are also another side of his passions. He, as you
may know, works for an enviromental association that studies big cats and the impact of human
settlements on their migration and breeding habits. But since our conversations revolve more around
my first language, I am not the best person to speak about Robert’s literacy on the topic of wildlife and
nature.

He’s intelligent, lively, engaging, and intellectually curious. He is everything a good language student
should be. Teaching him Spanish is a challenging wave that expert teachers will love to surf. I strongly
recommend you let Robert Peters be part of your Masters Program, it won’t only be enriching for him
to engage more with the language, but he might be a valuable asset during class, both for other students
and the teachers.

Please feel free to contact me at my email, if you have any question.

Sicerely,
