A QUICK NOTE

Hello everyone! Here are the full rules of the


Hungrylocke. Do keep in mind that when we
developed these rules it was for the purpose of the
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion. If you'd
like to use this guide for base rise do be sure to scale
the healing items accordingly and if requested
enough, we can always make a full game manual!

HUNGRYLOCK RULES
FULL ARMOR SETS
During the Hungrylocke you may only use full armor sets - no mixing of armor at any
point.
For example, if you’re unable to craft the head piece of a given set due to inefficient
materials, you cannot equip anything else.
No jewels are to be equipped during the Hungrylocke
One talisman is allowed during your quest

UPON CARTING
If you cart at any point during the Hungrylocke, all equipment you are wearing must be
discarded, this includes your armor as well as your weapon
Once armor/weapons have been discarded you cannot make that armor or weapon
line/tree again - it is now effectively unavailable to you

ONLY HEAL ITEMS


Only heal items are to be brought during quests and only heal items are allowed to be
used - no rations, no might seeds, no powders, etc... until they are unlocked
You cannot pick up box items during your quest
You may craft more healing items if you pick them up on your quest

WINNING & LOSING


You win the Hungrylocke when you get to the credits screen
You lose the Hungrylocke if you cart 3 times during a quest/fail the quest completely

ADDITIONAL MISC. RULES


Moxie dango & insurance dango are prohibited during your run
You cannot pick up endemic life unless unlocked
No wyvern riding unless unlocked
No modification to the game (cosmetic only)

MR UNLOCKABLES
As the Hungrylocke begins you are limited to the number of healing items you can bring
along. Below are the acceptable amounts for each Master Rank. You qualify for the next
level once you complete your urgent quest.

MR 5 10 10 +2

As you progress through Master Ranks you accumulate Hungry Points. These points can be
used to unlock items that you bring along as well as in-game mechanics previously not
available to you. Once unlocked you may continue to bring those items with you on every
quest.
