Before you begin...
I recommend reading the pattern before starting
to crochet
Difficulty level: Medium/Advanced
Crochet Jessie with tight stitches.
The body is worked in spiral. Don't join the rounds with slip
stitch, or turn unless otherwise stated.
The entire doll can be articulated by making a wire frame.
In my case I only used wire on the arms.
With the materials I used the doll measures 18 cm
including the hat.
This doll was designed by me, Carmen Lago-Hidarikiki

Make two. Start with skin color. Fill only the hand.

Crochet as many extras sts as you need to place the
maker at the nearer lateral point. According to the
tension of each person and the way crocheting, you'll
need more or less sts. I made 4 extras sts to reach the
indicated point. Make a slst in the next st and fasten off.

2nd leg:
Follow the same pattern as for 1st leg to Rnd18. DON'T CUT THE
YARN. Reserve the pieces.
Now, we´ll make sole's edge. I recommend that you make this
part before continuing with the body to make work more
comfortable.
Sole's edge:
With the leg up side down, join the medium brown yarn in the
last FLO loop on Rnd3. Ch 1 and make 1 sc in each of the free
FLO loops. You´ll have 22 sc,
Finish the round making 1 slst in the first st you made. Cut the
yarn, fasten off and hide the tail.

Body:
Now, let´s go to the blue jeans yarn we reserved. We will
join the legs,
Rnd19.- 9 sc in the 2nd leg, ch 3, 11 sc around the 1st leg, 3 sc
in the chains, 2 sc in 2nd leg (28)
Rnd23.- 25 sc. This rnd is to place the marker on the centre
of Woody's back. Change to dark brown.
Rnd25.- BLO 28 sc (28) Change to white.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The next three rounds will be done
alternating between white and bright yellow. To crochet
more comfortably, I advise using two balls of white or cutting
1 meter of white thread and reserving it to work on the color

The stitches will be indicated in the color in which they should
be crocheted. Change color before closing the previous stitch.

Crochet with white.

Now, we wiil join the arms. Check the thumbs look towards
the front side. You should be at the center of the back when
starting this round. If not, make as many extra sts as you
need to.

Shirt collar:
We´ll work in the free FLO of Rnd41. With body towards
down, insert the white yarn in the last loop of this round and
ch 1:
4 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tc, ch 4, 1 slst in the same previous stitch, ch 4, 1
tc, 1 dc, 4 hdc.
1 slst in first st for closed round and fasten off.
With red embroidery thread we will make the details of the

shirt as in the image.

Embroider eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows with brown, white

and copper thread, as you can observe in the pictures.

Head assembly:
Next, we'll join the head to the body. For that, use a yarn
needle with a thread (20 cm approximately). Pass it through
the penultimate round of the long neck of the body, leaving 10
cms of yarn on each side. (image 1)
Now, take one of these strands in the needle again and pass it
through the hole of the head, pulling it out the top of it. Make
the same with the other strand. (images 2 and 3)
Attach the head to the body, inserting the long neck into the
head's hole, leaving visible around 2 or 3 rounds.
Once we've positioned it, make a firm tie with the 2 strands
we've just passed. Hide now the threads.

Hair
Now we will place the threads that will later form the braid.
To do this we will cut 41 strands of dark orange color of 40
cm.
We will place a thread in each of the sc that we made in Rnd18.

To do this, we will fold the 40 cm strand in half and with the
help of the crochet we will pass it through the stitch.
Through the gap formed when passing the thread we will
insert the two ends of the strand and pull so that it remains
firmly attached.
We will do this on each of the 41 sc of Rnd18.
Look at the images on the next page. In them you can see the

process of placing the strands.

Ears:
Make two. Start with skin color.

Rnd1.- 5sc in mr
Sew the ears 6 sc away from the eye, between Rnd19 and
Rnd21.

Ribbon:
Crochet with bright yellow yarn. Work in magic ring:
(4 ch, 4 tc, 4 ch, 1 slst)*2
We finish off leaving a long thread and close the magic ring.
With the long thread that we left when finishing off we roll in
the center and tie from behind with the excess thread from
closing the magic ring.
Do not cut threads, they will be used to tie the bow in the
braid.

Wig assembly:
We place the wig on the head.
We can sew it or glue it with textile
glue or liquid silicone.
With the strands that we insert we
will make a braid, dividing them
into three groups and braiding them
until we have the preferred length.
Close witha piece of yellow thread and
cut excess threads if necessary.
Belt buckle:
In golden yellow.
ch 4, start to crochet in 2nd ch
from hook, 1 inc, 1 sc, 4 sc in last
ch, we'll continue working on the other
side of the chains, 1 sc, 1 inc. 1 slst in first st
and fasten off. Sew or glue on the center of the belt.
Shirt buttons:
Cut out two small circles from white felt and glue to the

Chaps:
Make two equal pieces. We start with white thread. Work in
rows, turning at the end of each row and making 1 ch before
starting the new row.
NOTE: Measure on the doll's legs in case it is necessary to
add or remove any rows. The measurement of the chaps
will be right from the row where we join the legs to the base
of the boots.
Row1.- 5 ch, start in the 2nd ch from the hook, 4 sc (4) turn
and 1 ch
Row2-Row6.- 4 sc (4) turn and 1 ch (5 rows)
Row7.- 1 inc, 2 sc, 1 inc (6) turn and 1 ch
Row8-Row9.- 6 sc (6) turn and 1 ch (2 rows)
Row10.- 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc (8) Change to black thread. Turn.
Now we will continue crocheting, but around the entire
piece:
7 sc, 1 inc in the corner, 10 sc in one side, 1 inc in the corner, 2
sc in the top, 1 inc in the corner, 10 sc in the other side, 1 inc in
the corner, 1 slst in next st. Fasten off and hide threads.
You paint spots with black acrylic paint.

Hat's edge:
Using the yarn needle and a white thread of approximately
30 cm, we will begin to make the adornment of the hat's
edge. We passed the needle and thread through the stitch
where we join the last round of the hat and counting three
distance stitches we will insert the needle again to create
lines that wrap the edge.
Do this procedure throughout the edge (see photos)

Now we're going to put a little color on his cheeks
with pink blush and

Antes de empezar...
Recomiendo leer el patrón antes de comenzar a tejer.
Nivel de dificultad: Medio-avanzado
Teje a Jessie con puntos apretados.
El cuerpo base está trabajado en espiral. No unas las
vueltas con punto deslizado ni gires a menos que se
indique lo contrario.
Se puede articular la muñeca completa haciéndole una
estructura de alambre. En mi caso sólo usé alambre en
los brazos.
Con los materiales utilizados Jessie tiene una medida de
18 cm con sombrero incluido.

Teje puntos extras hasta colocarnos en el lateral más
próximo. Según la forma de tejer de cada persona
necesitarás más o menos puntos. Yo hice 4 pb extras hasta
llegar al punto indicado. Hacer 1 pe en el siguiente punto y
rematar hebra.

2ª Pierna:
Hacer lo mismo que en la 1ª pierna hasta V18. No cortar la
hebra, Reservamos.
Ahora haremos los bordes de las suelas .
Recomiendo hacer esta parte antes de unir las piernas, para
que te sea más cómodo de tejer.
Borde de las suelas:

Con la pierna boca abajo, insertamos hilo en la última hebra
delantera de V3, hacemos 1 cad y tejemos 1 pb en cada hebra
delantera de la vuelta, hasta tener un total de 22 pb.
Cerrar vuelta con 1 pe en el 1ª pt que hicimos. Cortar hebra,
rematar y esconder finales.

Cuerpo:
Ahora, volviendo al hilo azul jeans, uniremos las piernas.

V19.- 9 pb en la 2ª pierna, 3 cad, 11 pb en la 1ª pierna, 3 pb en
las cadenas, 2 pb en 2ª pierna (28)
V20-V22.- 28 pb (28) (3 vueltas)
V23.- 25 pb. Esta vuelta es para colocarnos en la mitad de la
espalda. Cambiar a marrón oscuro.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Las próximas tres vueltas se realizarán

manera más cómoda aconsejo usar dos ovillos de blanco o
cortar 1 metro de hilo blanco y reservarlo para trabajar en el
cambio de color. (Ver imagen)
Los puntos se indicarán en el color en el que deben ser tejidos.
Cambiar de color antes de cerrar el punto anterior.

Ahora haremos la unión de brazos. Vigila que los pulgares

apunten hacia delante. Debes estar en el centro de la espalda al
inicio de la vuelta. Si no es así, debes hacer pts extras hasta
situarte.

Cuello de la camisa:
Trabajar en las hebras delanteras libres que dejamos en V41.

Colocando el cuerpo boca abajo, insertamos hilo blanco en la
última hebra delantera de la vuelta y hacer 2 cad:
4pma, 1 pa, 1 pad, 4 cad, 1 pe en el mismo punto anterior, 4
cad, 1 pad, 1 pa, 4 pma. Hacer 1 pe en el primer punto para
cerrar la vuelta y rematar.
Con hilo de bordar rojo haremos los detalles de la camisa

como en la imagen.

V32.- (4 pb, 1 dism)*6 (30) Empezar a rellenar, haciéndolo de
manera uniforme y dando forma a las cuatro esquinas de la
cabeza .

V35-V41.- 15 pb (15) (7 vueltas) Hacer 1 pe en próximo pt y
rematar.
Ayudándonos de un palo de madera o la parte trasera del

ganchillo, meteremos el cuello para el interior de la cabeza.
Haremos la nariz entre V22 y V23, con 3 pts de distancia y

pasando el hilo dos o tres veces.
Con hilo de bordar marrón chocolate y blanco bordaremos

los ojos y con hilo color cobre medio haremos las cejas,
ambos de la misma manera que se ven en las fotos.

Montaje de la cabeza:
A continuación, uniremos la cabeza al cuerpo. Para ello
empezaremos pasando un hilo de 20 cm aproximadamente
con la aguja lanera a través de la penúltima vuelta del cuello
largo del cuerpo, dejando a cada lado unos 10 cm. (foto 1)
Ahora insertaremos uno de los extremos del hilo en la aguja
lanera y lo pasaremos a través del hueco de la cabeza,
sacándolo por la parte superior. Haremos lo mismo con el
otro extremo. (fotos 2 y 3)
Unimos el cuerpo y la cabeza metiendo el cuello por el hueco
formado en la base de la cabeza, dejando unas 2 o 3 vueltas
de cuello visible. Una vez lo tengamos en el sitio deseado,
ataremos firmemente los dos hilos que sobresalen por
encima de la cabeza. Seguidamente, cortamos sobrantes.

Pelo:
Ahora colocaremos los hilos que más tarde formarán la
trenza. Para ello cortaremos 41 hebras de color naranja
intenso de 40 cm
Iremos colocando una hebra en cada uno de los pb que

hicimos en V18. Para ello doblaremos a la mitad la hebra de
40 cm y con ayuda del ganchillo la pasaremos por el punto,
Por el hueco formado al pasar el hilo meteremos los dos
extremos de la hebra y tiramos para que quede bien
agarrado.
Haremos esto en cada uno de los 41 pb de V18.
Observa las imágenes de la siguiente página. En ellas podrás

ver el proceso de colocación de las hebras.

Orejas:
Hacer 2 con color piel.

V1.- Am de 5pb
Cosemos las orejas a 6 pb de distancia del ojo, entre V19 y V21.

Montaje de la peluca:
Colocamos la peluca en la cabeza.

Podemos coserla o pegarla con
pegamento textil o silicona líquida.
Con las hebras que insertamos
haremos una trenza, dividiéndolas
en tres grupos y trenzándolas hasta
tener el largo preferido. Cerrar con
un trozo de hilo amarillo y cortar
hilos sobrantes si fuese necesario.
Hebilla del cinturón:

En color amarillo dorado.
4 cad, empezar en 2ª cad desde el
gancho,1 aum, 1 pb, 4 pb en la última
cad, seguimos tejiendo por el otro
lado de las cadenas, 1 pb, 1 aum. Cerrar con 1 pe
en el primer punto de la vuelta y rematar. Coser o pegar en
el centro del cinturón.
Botones de la camisa:
Recortar dos círculos pequeños de fieltro blanco y pegar en

la camisa.
Lazo
Tejer con hilo color amarillo vivo. Trabajar en anillo mágico:
(4 cad, 4 pad, 4 cad, 1 pe)*2
Rematamos dejando una hebra larga y cerramos anillo
mágico.
Con la hebra larga que dejamos al rematar enrollamos por el
centro y anudamos por detrás con el hilo sobrante de cerrar
el anillo mágico.
No cortar hilos, nos servirán para anudar el lazo en la trenza.

Chaparreras:
Hacer dos iguales. Comenzamos con hilo blanco. Tejeremos
en filas, girando el tejido al terminar cada fila y haciendo 1
cad antes de comenzar la nueva fila.
NOTA: Ir midiendo en las piernas de la muñeca por si fuese
necesario añadir o quitar alguna vuelta. La medida de las
chaparreras serán justo desde la vuelta que unimos las
piernas hasta la base de las botas.
F1.- 5 cad, empezar en la 2ª cad desde el gancho, 4 pb (4)

girar tejido y 1 cad
F2-F6.- 4 pb (4) girar tejido y 1 cad (5 vueltas)
F7.- 1 aum, 2 pb, 1 aum (6) girar tejido y 1 cad
F8-F9.- 6 pb (6) girar tejido y 1 cad (2 vueltas)
F10.- 1 aum, 4 pb, 1 aum (8) Cambiar a hilo negro. Girar
tejido.
Ahora seguiremos tejiendo, pero alrededor de toda la pieza:
7 pb, 1 aum en la esquina, 10 pb en un lateral, 1 aum en la
esquina, 2 pb en la parte superior, 1 aum en la esquina, 10 pb
en el otro lateral, 1 aum en la esquina, 1 pe en siguiente pt.
Rematar y esconder sobrantes.
Con pintura acrílica negra pintar manchas.

Tejeremos con hilo rojo.

Borde del sombrero:
Utilizando la aguja lanera y un hilo blanco de 30 cm
aproximadamente, comenzaremos a hacer el adorno del
borde del sombrero.
Pasamos la aguja e hilo por el punto donde unimos la última
vuelta del sombrero y contando tres puntos de distancia
insertaremos de nuevo la aguja para crear lineas que
envuelvan el borde. Hacer este procedimiento por todo el
borde (Ver fotos)

Ahora sólo queda que le deis un poco de rubor con
colorete rosa a sus mejillas y
ya tendréis lista a Jessie!
