Why Joining the United States Marine Corps is a great choice

Honor, courage, and commitment are core values within the United States Marine Corps.

Achieving these virtues will strengthen physical and mental fortitude within the United States military.

There are many benefits that the United States military gives. It can also give these benefits to those

who join the ranks. Many training and practical skills to be learned and many lifelong friends will be

made due to this training. The Marine Corps also provides room, board, and paid food, helps further

education, and great health coverage for servicemen and dependents. This is a good path for those who

are trying to build a structure and further their experiences in life.

Various training instructors will lead recruits to serve as fine outstanding citizens of the United

States. The military proceeds to teach how not only to be a good follower and greater leader. Recruits

will be taught good order and discipline it will teach things like making timely and precise decisions

under stress. Intense physical training provides one to be in the best physical shape of their life, allowing

stress managed in a much more organized manner, giving the appearance of a composed professional.

One will learn self-responsibility, time management, and prioritizing. Training will also teach the proper

operations of many systems ranging from vehicles to weapons, and survival tools. These are all skills that

one can take to the civilian world and many employers will take a liking to them. At the end of the

training, recruits will reflect and smile at the transformation.

There are many friends made during youth. Playing in the park or an extracurricular. As time

passes there are times when those bonds can fade. Being alone, especially far from home, can cause a

strain on the mental and emotional pillars. Eventually, there will be someone to rely on. Battle buddies

will be there through thick and thin, together forever. These are the types of bonds that matter to take to

the battlefield. No matter where or how long the deployment is, someone will be that crutch. It is a bond

unique to servicemen and women. When far apart, these days connected through the web; these bonds

will never fade. No matter the passage of time or distance apart, these are the types of friends that

whom there will be no feeling of lost time. Having these strong bonds like brothers and sisters.

Life has many things to throw at a person’s life, most of which can be covered with things like

insurance. The Marine Corps will give insurance for dental, health, hearing, and eyes. All needs and

potential spouse and kids’ needs will be taken care of as well and notice anything missing from the pay

schedule. America has had two occasions in one lifetime where the people feared where the next

paystub would come from; in the Marine Corps, there is a guaranteed paycheck on the first and fifteenth

of every month. If single and are worried about a place to live or where to have the next meal; the

Marine Corps has many dining facilities and barracks rooms, not too different from the standard hotel

room. If there is fear for the family in the case that one's life is lost in an accident or on the line of duty,

the Marine Corps offers a four-hundred-thousand-dollar life insurance. If unsure of the future, the

Marine Corps offers a Roth IRA and a paid-for education for those who have served honorably, or a loved

one can benefit from.

In conclusion, there are many benefits to joining the United States Marine Corps. Experience

more than just the general benefits, amenities, friendships, and training. These are some of the forefront

reasons why joining is amazing. After all, “We don’t offer you a rose garden. We are looking for a few

good men.”
