Diane Arbus was a famous American photographer, who lived in New York. There, her parents
owned Russeks Department Store on West 56th Street, and they were always very busy. Diane
went to Fieldston School, where aged fourteen she met Alan Arbus. She became his wife when
she was eighteen. Alan Arbus was a great actor, and many people loved his films. Soon after
their wedding, Diane got her first camera and started taking very interesting photos that many
people still love today.
