1. How important are peer groups to socialization? In what ways do they influence
individuals throughout the life course?
- Peer groups are importatn to socialization because it helps individuals to socialize
and it gives support to individuals as they develop a sense of self. Moreover, Peer
groups influence individuals thoughout the life course as they offer them the
opportunity to develop various social skills.
3. Have you ever experienced role strain or role conflict? Describe the different roles
and how they were strained or conflicted. How did you resolve this?
- Yes, I experienced role conflict. Back when I was in SHS, I was the one who assigned
to be the director head of communications team in our clun ENVOY. That role
requires me to work allot. Requires me to communicate with my members, and
requires me to summarize all of their meeting minutes. And also that time we have a
lot of activities need to be done that’s why my role confilcted with my schedule.
Moreover, I don’t think that I resolve that or maybe I resolve that becase I told to
our club president that I can’t handle my role anymore because I have many
activities that needs to be done . And also I told to our club president that I will leave
the club.
