NETWORK TOPOL0GIES

TOPOLOGY:
Network topology is how devices like routers and
switches are arranged and connected in a network. It
can be shown as a diagram with nodes (devices) and
connections.

BUS TOPOLOGY
Bus topology is a network topology where all devices are
connected to a single cable, called a bus or backbone, which
acts as a shared communication medium. This allows all
devices on the network to receive the same signal at the same
time. Bus topology is also known as line topology.

RING TOPOLOGY
Ring topology is a network design where devices are linked in a
circular structure, or ring, and communicate with each other based
on the nodes next to them. In this setup, each device is connected
to exactly two other devices, creating a continuous pathway for
data transmission.

STAR TOPOLOGY
A Star topology is a type of network topology in which all
the devices or nodes are physically connected to a central
node such as a router, switch, or hub. The central node
(hub) acts as a server, and the connecting nodes act as
clients.
