PROJECT PAPER (15%)

What/how to write?
• Cover page – Topic, names, sections & individual work assigned to each member
• Introduction (2%) – Discuss what do you want to investigate? Why do you choose
to investigate it? Why is it significant to study the topic? Why it is relevant for you
to explore the topic? What is the problem that led you to study the topic? For
instance, is there any growing concern over the topics you choose, you can also
refer to statements in the newspaper or data to support your claims.
• Literature Review (3%) – Use updated literature, preferably within 5 years of
reference, to ensure that your research is up-to-date. Provide a critical discussion
and review on what is known about the topics. Carefully articulate the ideas and
synthesize the information in relation to the topic. Provide highlights of the
research gap in the chosen topic.
• Discussion & Critical Analysis (8%) – Provide a critical discussion on the topics on
what has been discussed previously, the arguments, the debates, the significance
and importance of the topics. The critical part of this section is also to provide your
own opinions in regards to the topics.
• Conclusion (2%) – Provide a summary of the research and provide suggestions for
future research.
• Others – Follow the APA style format for in-text citation and references.

Plagiarism is not allowed and will be penalized heavily! All your work will be sent to “Turnitin”
to check for the authenticity of your work. The similarity of more than 25% will not be accepted.
