I Am Choosing Nourishment
That's the energy.

Being emotionally well-nourished is something I am deeply committed to
this year.

The company I keep will be nourishing.

The spaces I occupy will feel nourishing.

The conversations I have will be nourishing.

The time I spend and the energy I invest will be intentional and nourishing.

That's the energy.

I spent so much of my life feeling emotionally drained, neglected, and
disconnected that making this intentional choice to find and receive
nourishment feels like a breakthrough.

I jokingly told a friend recently: If it's not nourishing, it's a no.

Something I also wanted to aim for this year is working with more
businesses that I love and support. So when I asked my friend Connie at
East Fork if they'd be open to collaborating on a cup with me, it was only
right that the vessel reflected my word of the year: Nourishment.

The Nourishing Cup was created exclusively for East Fork in a retired color
(Malibu). It's the most perfect blue and matches my new book, HOW WE
HEAL, almost identically. We wanted this cup to represent holding space for
healing. It's a lovely companion for morning gratitude practice or cradling in
your hands while meditating. I love cupping mine while it's warm. Watching
the steam from my drink brings me into such a grounded place. We want
this vessel to invite you into nurturing yourself with small moments of joy.

My tea and coffee ritual is something that leaves me feeling cared for and
loved. It's an act of self-choosing that I refuse to push to the side. East Fork
has been a part of my morning ritual for years now. Co-creating this special
collaboration with them reminded me how important it is to be in intentional
and aligned relationships, personally and professionally.

Watch the Process

My word is nourishment because I'm really

interested in being fed emotionally and
spiritually by my work and my relationships. I
want to feel full and seen.
No more shrinking myself and desire for a nourishing life this year. We are
all worthy of self-nurturing and feelings of groundedness. I know for me, I
want to be and feel steady in my body, life, work, and relationships.

Monday Mantra:
May we always remember that the graciousness we share and pour into
others, we are also deeply worthy of experiencing.

May we trust in the power of giving ourselves the gift of self-compassion,

inner peace, joy, and nourishment.

Community Questions (leave a comment):

1. What feels nourishing for you right now?

2. How do you want to create more nourishment for yourself this year?

3. What relationships are making you feel seen and supported these
days?

4. What’s your word of the year or month?
