HOLIDAY HOMEWORK FOR SUMMER VACATION

SESSION 2024-25
Class: -X Subject: Science

Portfolio activity:
1. DO worksheet of Previous year questions of CH-1 AND CH-5.
2. Write all chemical equations from science textbook and balance them. (At
least 20-30.)
3. Make a formula dictionary containing at least 100 formulae of
compounds, their chemical name, common name and formula from
physics and biology part.
4. Draw and practice all the diagrams of CH-5 ‘LIFE PROCESSES’ from
the textbook.
Practical record book-
5. Write the practical record for the practical done in junior science lab.
6. Think some innovative ideas related to science to make a project for
science exhibition or NCSC project. Discuss with your peer group and
start executing your idea.
7. Make brain cap and show the function of each part of brain?
8. Art integrated project: Make post card on chapter ‘our environment’
of the following with a brief write up (30 words each) and miniature
diagram of
1.Ecosystem ---(natural e.g. forest and artificial e.g. aquarium) 2.
Components of ecosystem (biotic and abiotic) 3. Food chain, food web
4. Trophic level etc.

9. Do all portfolio activity in A4 sheet/file paper and compile it in office
punch file
10. Use your creative ideas to make your work look colourful, creative and
innovative.
