SMAN 1 SUMATERA BARAT

Padang Panjang is a city of education. This can be seen from the large number of
educational institutions whose students not only come from regions in West Sumatra. One of the
famous institutes is SMAN 1 Sumatera Barat. To attend this school the students must go through
a very tough test, a test that is like a god-level test. Because of that, SMAN 1 Sumatera Barat is
the place for the most brilliant students from all corners of Sumatera.
On entrance to SMAN 1 Sumatera Barat, it feels like you come to a place like a rain
forest. When you look around, the school is surrounded by greenery and a well-maintained
garden. The air is fresh like Puncak Lawang, as you breathe in it will refresh your body, and
soothe your lungs, heart, and mind. On the right side of the school, your eyes will be stunned by
murals made by the artistic students of SMAN 1 Sumatera Barat, which will please your eyes.
When you walk further, you will meet the main building where the students spend
most of their time to study. The main building has 2 floors, consisting of 13 classrooms, 1
meeting room, 1 teacher’s room, 3 headmaster and staff rooms, 1 school clinic, 1 multimedia
room, and 2 laboratories. Each classroom has its characteristics because the students have to
decorate their own classroom to win an event held by the student council. To achieve that, they
work as hard as horses. Besides that, this will increase the fellowship of the classmates.
