Please Note:
This is version 5 of the 2024 Term 1 Programme Assessment Timetable (PAS) which includes the formative assessment dates only.
This timetable is subject to change. Please ensure that you work from the correct version of the assessment timetable.
Please ensure that you familiarize yourself with the Assessment rules, as per IIE 009 Assessment Strategy and Policy and PDIIE009 Assessment Criteria Minimum Standards and Procedures.
The IIE considers cheating and plagiarism to be wrongful appropriations representing academic dishonesty and a breach of academic ethics.
Please ensure that you familiarize yourself with the IIE023 Intellectual Integrity and Property Rights policy and IIE015 Safety Student Conduct and Disciplinary policy.
Non-Invigilated Assessments: Hard Copy submissions
The submission time for hardcopy assessments on site is before 17:00, with no expectation of student support past 17:00.
Non-Invigilated Assessments: Online submission
Also known as, online assessments (including Take Home Assessments)
All online assessments must be submitted before 23:59 (Central African Time) in the evening with no expectation of student support past 17:00 on the due dates as per the PAS unless otherwise stipulated.
Students are reminded that technical failure and or load-shedding are not reasons for late submissions.
Students are encouraged to begin submitting earlier, before the 23:59 deadline, to ensure you deal with any difficulties encountered.
Late submissions: There are specific penalties associated with late submission, please refer to PDIIE009 section 3.8, 3.9 and 6.3
Any submission after the extended submission period will not be accepted.
Invigilated Assessments
Also known as, campus sitting assessments (Written Unseen Assessments)
Students are reminded to bring their identification documents (e.g. RSA ID/Passport/digital student card/ RSA driver’s licence ) to each assessment sitting.
Please ensure that you are in the venue 30 minutes before the commencement of the written unseen assessments (e.g., tests or examinations).
Without an approved application for a replacement sitting, students’ will receive zero for missed assessments.
Assessment exceptions (Replacement assessments):
These are only applicable to approved applications done via RC Assist https://portal.rosebankcollege.co.za/assist/student-hub/replacement-assessment .
