Dear Senator Bong Go,
Greetings!
During the Enhanced Community Quarantine, most of the small-scale or low income businesses
and employees had been greatly affected. As a result, businesses have collapsed and many
have lost their jobs, which caused hardship and hunger.
At the present time, lot of people are still recovering from the economic effects of the ECQ.
Those who are engaged in small-scale or low income businesses and employees who lost their
jobs are the most affected as their income, notably, can only support the daily needs of their
families; and closing down their business resulted to financial losses. Others engaged in on-line
selling but still, this could hardly support the financial needs of their family.

It is in this regard that the Local Government Unit (LGU) of this municipality would like to
request for funding of ₱72,000,000.00 worth of Livelihood Assistance which will be
distributed to 3,000 Beneficiaries that would possibly receive the amount of ₱ 24,000.00
each to support the start and/or recovery of the small-scale or low-income businesses for the
financial sustainability of the family.

Approval of this request will ensure that beneficiaries will be able to recover from their financial
setback.
