1. Introduction

1.1 Background to the Placement

The journey to secure my placement with LogicBit Solution began during my final year
at Islington College when I actively searched for opportunities to apply theoretical
knowledge in a real-world context. After extensive research and applications, I
successfully obtained a position as a Frontend Developer intern, a position I was
immediately excited to pursue due to its alignment with my academic and career
interests. The placement began on 11th September 2023 and ended on 31st January
2024, during which I was completely remote, adapting to the nuances of a work-from-
home configuration.

Logic Bit Solution was founded in 2008, working under the Shiva Jyoti Group PVT.LTD
in Nepal has established itself as a leading IT service provider in Kathmandu, Nepal.
With over 15 years of experience, the company has built a significant presence in
Nepal, India, and Europe, impacting various industries by offering tailor-made IT
solutions. The core aim of Logic Bit Solutions is to elevate business operations into
more efficient and secure platforms, thereby ensuring clients’ satisfaction and continual
growth.

Logic Bit Solutions offers a comprehensive array of IT services tailored to meet the
diverse needs of modern businesses. From responsive web design that adapts
seamlessly to any device, to custom WordPress development and theming, the
company ensures high-quality, scalable online solutions. Additionally, Logic Bit Solution
excels in data analysis, providing real-time insights that allow businesses to make
informed decisions swiftly and efficiently. Furthermore, the company provides reliable
web hosting services, with 24x7 live support, ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted
online presence for businesses. Domain registration services, including support
for .com, .net, .org, and assistance with .np registrations, are also services provided by
Logic Bit Solution.

1.3 Details of Specific department worked in

During my internship at Logic Bit Solutions, I was a member of a three-member team

tasked with developing a responsive news portal as a front-end developer. Despite
working remotely, our collaboration thrived under the guidance of Mr. Atma Prasad
Adhikari, our supervisor. My primary focus was on ensuring the news portal's
responsiveness, which involved using Bootstrap to adjust the layout seamlessly across
various devices and screen sizes. I was assigned to redesign the already existing
project that the company was working on named "Pokhara Views".

3. Academic Context

The alignment between my internship at Logic Bit Solution and my academic curriculum
at Islington College for BSc. Hons (Computing) has been profoundly beneficial,
significantly enhancing my understanding and application of theoretical knowledge in a
practical, work-based environment. The three academic modules that significantly
contributed to the success of my internship experience are Introduction to Information
Systems, Advanced Programming Technologies and Database. These academic
experiences not only provided me with the challenges of my internship but also enabled
me to contribute effectively to the team and the project objectives.

Ultimately, the internship has equipped me with skills, experiences, and ethical
standards along with enhanced soft skills which played a really important role in my
personal aspect development and are directly transferable to any future academic or
professional engagement, significantly enhancing my readiness and confidence to
tackle the evolving challenges in the field of software development. My internship
experience has been transformative, providing me with not only technical skills but also
important soft skills such as good communication, collaboration, and adaptability, which
were critical in managing the program's varied difficulties and promoting teamwork.

6.1 Future Plan

Reflecting on my internship as a front-end developer working with Bootstrap, I am

excited to further develop my skills and tackle more demanding tasks. I am thrilled
about delving further into web development in my upcoming projects, and I look forward
to exploring the latest technologies and frameworks to create smooth user experiences.
Having a strong understanding of Bootstrap, I am sure of my skills to handle challenging
front-end development projects and work with diverse teams to produce top-notch
products.
