Sub: Suspension Letter for collision of RITES Locomotive No. 182 in BSL premises.

We regret to inform you that you are being suspended from your duties as a Loco Pilot with
immediate effect until further notice. This suspension is a result of the collision between
RITES Locomotive No. 182 and RITES Locomotive No. 195 in BSL premises near point no.
41 on 27.04.2024.

The investigation into the incident revealed that the collision occurred due to negligence on
your part. Despite receiving signals and communication via walkie-talkie from the Shunt
man to slow down, you failed to take appropriate action to reduce the speed of Locomotive
No. 182. Your lack of attention and distraction while operating the locomotive led to this
unfortunate incident.

Your suspension will remain in effect until further notice, and appropriate disciplinary
action is determined.

We urge you to take this time to reflect on the importance of attentiveness and diligence in
your duties as a Loco Pilot.
