Hi! My name’s Sophie and I’m 12 years old. I live in New Jersey. The weather is crazy
here because we have all four seasons. When the year starts, the winter is very cold and
there’s lots of snow, so we wear jackets, scarves, caps and winter boots. I stay at school
or at home for most of the winter. Sometimes it’s so cold and snowy that we can’t go to
school! Then, in April, we have spring. It doesn’t snow anymore and the weather is warm.
I wear blouses and jeans. You can see the trees start to get their leaves again. In June, we
go on summer vacation and it gets really hot. I love summer because I go outside and play
with my friends every day. I like wearing shorts and a T-shirt. When summer ends, we
have autumn. The weather is a bit cold, so I wear sweaters and trousers. I like the autumn
because there are so many different things to do. You can see the leaves change colour,
and you can do fun activities like pumpkin decorating, and getting ready for Halloween
