AN SCREENPLAY

TITLE: "Ghosts in the

Spotlight" By Tatiana Vallejo- University.

Characters: Lucía, Ana, Paco y Pepe- (students)

First Act: INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

LUCÍA and ANA are watching a horror movie, laughing and joking about the spooky
scenes.

LUCÍA
(laughing)
These movies are so predictable. I bet a ghost is going to pop out now!

ANA
(sarcastically)
Sure, and it'll challenge us to a dance battle.

Suddenly, the TV SCREEN flickers and goes dark. An unsettling SILENCE takes
over the room. The girls look at each other, uneasy.

ANA
(standing up)
I’ll see what happens?

As Ana checks the cables, two SPECTRAL FIGURES, PACO and PEPE, emerge
from the screen. The ghosts materialize in the living room, causing the girls to
scream.

PACO
(angrily)
Silence, mortals! We are the masters of this domain!
I am Paco the Magnificent, and he is Pepe, my faithful companion.

PEPE
(irritated)
Yes! And we're going to prove it. And I am pepe

LUCÍA
(defiantly)
Oh, really? We'll see who's in charge here.

ANA
(supporting Lucía)
Humans won't be intimidated by a couple of sheets with eyes!
The ghosts and the girls engage in a comical fight, throwing cushions and using the
remote control as a sword. The fight is more playful than serious, and soon everyone
is laughing.

PACO
(panting)
Enough, enough! I can't take it anymore!

PEPE
(with a smile)
You're right. These humans aren't so bad.

LUCÍA
(with a smile)
How about instead of fighting, we do something more fun?

ANA
(as if struck by a brilliant
idea) A dance battle!

MUSIC STARTS playing out of nowhere. The ghosts and the girls get ready for the
dance battle, showing off their best moves in a fun and laughter-filled atmosphere.

PACO
(amid laughter)
How ridiculous! I never thought I'd end up dancing with mortals.

PEPE
(nodding)
Life after death has its surprises, doesn't it?

LUCÍA
(waving her arms in the air)
Come on, Paco! Show us all your talent!

ANA
(clapping)
And you, Pepe! Let's see what you're made of!

PACO
What do you think if we surprise these mortals with our best moves, Pepe?

PEPE
Great idea, Paco! Let's make their jaws drop.
PACO
Exactly! Let's show them how we dance in the afterlife.

PEPE
Let's do it, Paco!

Second Act: EXT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

The music and laughter can be heard from outside. The shadows of the four dancers
are projected onto the curtains. The night is f
