Len,
We Can Save 20% on Our Paper Cost If We Get Your Approval for the New
Paper Supplier by Thursday.
That's the essence of the enclosed Chinese supplier analysis that you asked me to
tackle after last month's meeting. I have also included price lists from other
suppliers.
mile
In a nutshell, Pandapaper is the lowest-priced and most financially stable paper mill
we visited and would be an ideal choice for our paper supplier in China for the
following reasons:
• Its prices are significantly less than other suppliers I spoke with in China and are in
line with our budget.
• Pandapaper also serves several of our major competitors.
• It requires less lead time to fill orders than other Chinese suppliers.

Lisa Anderson

Re: 2006 Fundraising Campaign
Dear Sir:
I would like to report that this month's meeting of the 2006 Campaign Committee
went very well. We brainstormed and came up with lots of great fundraising ideas for
next year, and we look forward to presenting all of them to you next month.
Which brings me to my question. Could you approve the loan of some video
equipment from the media relations department for our group presentation?
We would like to show some film footage that supports our fundraising plans.
We need a dvd-compatible laptop and a big screen to project images on, as well as
additional speakers that would meet the sound requirements of the auditorium.

Please confirm the availability of this equipment for our purpose, by the end of next
