Subject: Requesting the revocation of National Exit Test (NExT).

Respected Sir/Mam,
With reference to the subject cited above, we the undersigned students of AYUSH under
RGUHS Bengaluru, request your kind initiatives to help the students of AYUSH who are
struggling to get revoked the laws of National Exit Test for the old batch students.

We request your kind attention towards our demands mentioned below.

1) That the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National
Commission for Homeopathy (NCH) was enacted under the Ministry of AYUSH in
2020 by dissolving the erstwhile CCIM.
2) That we are the students who got admitted into different AYUSH colleges across
Karnataka before the NCISM and NCH was enacted i.e before 2020.
3) NCISM and NCH has made the National Exit Test (NExT) mandatory for all AYUSH
Students irrespective of old or new batches.
4) We are the students of old batches and the new rules/laws of NCISM/NCH should
not be applied to the old batches.
5) Moreover, we are of the opinion that it is a sheer injustice and discrimination to
apply blanket rules of NExT Examination to the AYUSH Students irrespective of old
or new batches.
Whereas, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has made this rule (i.e NExT
Exam) applicable only to the new batches.
6) Therefore, we request your esteemed office to take this matter to the apex body and
request to amend/repeal the rules of NExT for the old batches.
