Assignment – Human Resource Management (SCM/B&F)

Description on the Assignment

You are expected to identify the recruitment and selection methods of an
organization and conduct a comprehensive analysis of it.
The group is allowed to select any organization that is currently is in operation within
the Sri Lankan context.
Report Guidelines
The report should consist of the following structure:
a. Introduction
b. Analysis on the recruitment methods
c. Analysis on the selection methods
d. Pros and Cons of the methods followed by the business.
e. Recommendation and Conclusion
A report of 2000 words should be prepared for the above-mentioned.
• Font style: Times New Roman
• Heading Font size: 16 (Bold)
• Subtopics: 14 (Bold)
• Body Font size: 12
• Justify with normal page margins.
• References should be included in any.
• Pages include Cover Page based on campus format, Content page, inner
pages, references, or annexures.

The Final report should be uploaded to the LMS in PDF format on or before
the provided deadline.

 Presentation Guidelines
The content of the presentation should be:
1. Introduction to the company
2. Methods of Recruitment followed by the organization.
3. Methods of selection followed by the organization.
4. Pro and Cons of the followed methods
5. Conclusion and Recommendations
Presentation time: 15 minutes
Questions: 5 minutes
The presentation should mainly consist of analysis.
When preparing the slides, proper citation should be included. The presentation
should be prepared completely based on true facts that you have gathered as a
group.
The Final PPT should be uploaded to the LMS in PDF format on or before the
provided deadline.
Date of Presentation will be notified, soon.
Each group will consist of 07 members.
