RE: EXTENDED WORKING HOURS - SATURDAYS

Good morning Kalumbila Team

Yesterday, 25 April 2024, at 15h03 I received a call from Mr Moffat Makumbi at FQM Trident
Mine in Kalumbila.
The just of the conversation was around the new 12 hours shifts that the mine is implementing
with immediate effect.
The instruction given by Mr Moffat was that all contractors, including Zamaka, will from now on
work according to the following working hours:
Weekdays (Monday to Friday) – the standard current working hours of 6h00 to 16h00
(with 1 hour lunch break) still applies,
Saturdays – working hours will now be 6h00 to 15h00 (with immediate effect)
Sundays – no work on this this day

As you will see, this new change is not much different to our current working hours, except for
Saturdays for which all employees that is on duty on the Saturday will now be compensated by
an additional 2 hours of overtime.
Please note that this is not negotiable, and the change has been implemented from the mine’s
side already.
