The academy has cordially invited

candidates, who have successfully finalised
their online registration for admission into the
10th Regular Course, to participate in a range
of processes. This includes:

Automated Physical/Credential
Screening
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Medical Screening
Board Interview

These processes are meticulously planned to

transpire from Monday 6th November to
Wednesday 30th November 2023. The
starting time on each day is fixed at 0800hrs,
ensuring a prompt and efficient
commencement. The central hub for these
processes will be the iconic grounds of the
Nigeria Police Academy.

Pre-Screening Preparations
Candidates gearing up for this significant
step should make their way to POLAC’s
official website to print their invitation slips
(https://admission.polac.edu.ng/). This
vital document will be available from 21st
October 2023. It’s imperative that
candidates adhere to the specific day
mentioned on their invitation slip for the
screening.

Screening Criteria and

Essentials
A spokesperson for POLAC emphasised the
importance of the CBT, stating that only
those who excel in this test will earn a place
at POLAC to advance to the subsequent
stages – the Medical Screening followed by
the Board Interview.

As for the screening day, candidates are

mandated to arrive dressed in a pristine white
T-shirt and shorts. In addition, they must be
equipped with the following essential
documents, systematically organised in two
white flat files, accompanied by recent
passport photographs:

a. Confirmation of physical/mental
fitness from a reputable
government-endorsed medical
institution.
b. Testimonial of upstanding character
from the Village/District Head of the
candidate.
c. Certificate of Origin, authenticated
by either the Local Government
Chairman or Secretary.
d. A print-out of the National Identity
Number (NIN).
e. Original and duplicate sets of
credentials – this encompasses O’
Level Result(s), Birth Certificate or
Declaration of Age, and the JAMB
result print-out.
f. A printed copy of the application
form.
g. A meticulously filled Guarantor’s
form.
h. The aforementioned invitation slip.

Adherence to Requirements
It is paramount that candidates ensure they
bring along all items from (a) to (h). The
academy has clarified that any candidate
who misses even a single item will
unfortunately not be eligible for the
screening. Moreover, candidates are urged to
be punctual and to align with the specifics,
dates, and guidelines outlined for the
screening exercise.

A Message from the

Commandant
AIG Sadiq Idris Abubakar, PhD, mni, the
esteemed Commandant of POLAC, took a
moment to address the aspiring candidates.
He unequivocally assured transparency and
accountability throughout the screening
process. Reiterating the academy’s
commitment to integrity, he emphasised that
the Admission Exercise is entirely free-of-
charge.

He further counselled the applicants to

remain vigilant, particularly against any
unscrupulous elements aiming to exploit this
exercise for illicit gains. In a stern warning, he
proclaimed that any individual found
indulging in malpractices will unequivocally
face the rigorous consequences of the law.
